A leading independent energy company headquartered in the United States, operating across the refining, petrochemical, and logistics sectors. The company produces and markets high-value light products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, renewable fuels, lubricants, and specialty chemicals.

Job Description



  • Develop and execute procurement policies and best practices that align with company standards.


  • Lead cost reduction and risk mitigation efforts through strategic sourcing and supplier management.


  • Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures for assigned operations.


  • Oversee supplier selection, contract management, and performance tracking.


  • Conduct spend analysis to identify savings opportunities and drive enterprise-wide efficiencies.


  • Standardize parts and materials across operational sites to improve efficiency and inventory control.


  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.


  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, overseeing recruiting, onboarding, and performance reviews.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance teams.


  • Maintain and improve reporting tools to track procurement metrics and performance.


  • Support vendor audits, fleet procurement and capital project sourcing.


  • Direct supervision of up to 5 team members or contractors.


  • Up to 15% travel (domestic and international) required.


  • May involve work in industrial or refinery environments with varying conditions.

The Successful Applicant



  • 8+ years of procurement experience, preferably in industrial, energy, or manufacturing sectors.


  • 2+ years of experience in oil & gas or a related industry is preferred.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with procurement software/systems.


  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.


  • Certification (e.g., C.P.M.) preferred.


  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
