They are a fresh company that has already mad a significant impact in the beauty industry.Job DescriptionPerform daily tasks to ensure the progression and coordination of the department's formula development steps.Assist with organizing, developing and implementing procedure and protocols.Coordinate and track product samples for safety testing start and completion dates.Oversee the tracking of product samples for safety testing start and completion dates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Brand, Social, Marketing and Design to ensure proper marketing copy is received and utilized (per Master Copy Worksheet).Daily follow-up correspondences with raw material vendors, contract manufacturers, calendar invites, etc. in collaboration with the Director of PD.Understand & communicate brand identity and customer target to development partners.Research seasonal product concepts in corresponding marketsParticipate in weekly conference calls with contract manufacturers to facilitate formula development and related product needs. Lead calls when needed.Attend Internal Brand Cross Functional NPD MeetingsApprove pre-bulk and pilot/full batch production as backup to PD DirectorResearch and write ingredient benefits and "in use" directions for new product MCWs in correlation with PD Director approval.Attend trade shows as needed and review industry publicationsPlan, prioritize tasks and direct while retaining focus on big picture goalsMaintain a consistent organized work environment and ongoing motivation to reach objectives under fast-paced demanding circumstances.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
