Description
- Create and perform hands-on tests, analysis, and laboratory support
- Coordinate sample preparation
- Provide technical support for the manufacture of raw materials
- Effectively communicate and reinforce commitment to quality improvement efforts by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Perform and monitor chemical analysis and testing of products
- Provide engineering support to resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing guidance as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, polymer, chemical or material engineering or other relevant field
- 2-5+ years of experience
- Experience working with polymers highly desirable
- Good analytical lab testing skills
- Proficient in statistical techniques for data analysis
- Strong computer skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
