Job Description

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed Daily/Weekly/Monthly production plans based on forecasted global demand to meet finished goods inventory on time and at cost targets
  • Weekly production meetings with global internal teams and external contract manufacturers
  • Own relationship with external contract manufacturers to meet aggressive launch and reorder production timelines, including communication of changes to POs, BOMs, and Fill and Assembly instructions, adherence to SOPs, and mitigation of risks & opportunities to timelines
  • Implement QA/QC standards and monitor ongoing performance to standards at contract manufacturers
  • Develop deep and direct relationships with domestic and international manufacturers to drive manufacturing efficiencies and leverage scaling capabilities of the various facilities

The Successful Applicant

  • Familiar with Manufacturing and Supply Chain management field concepts, practices, and procedures, including: Inventory management, forecasting principles & lean principles
  • Understanding of factory production and product supply environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence and drive results
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed
