Job Description

  • Primary focus on Safety
  • Oversee a variety of automated equipment and processes related to Stamping (Transfer, Progression and Blanking)
  • Prepare design (hand and CAD) sketches and blueprints of machinery, fixtures, and layouts
  • Calculate and analyze lead, takt, and cycle times to optimize production
  • Analyze layouts of equipment, workflow, and assembly needs to devise methods to maximize efficiency
  • Process equipment evaluation, specifications, procurement, and implementation
  • Coordinate with production personnel, vendors, and external contractors to implement process improvements (Kaizens)
  • Structured problem solving experience (e.g. - 5 Why's, 8D)

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role
  • Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Preferred Manufacturing knowledge of metal forming or stamping operations
  • Eagerness to learn in a dynamic work environment
  • Team player with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with New Product Implementation and developing manufacturing documentation (i.e. work instructions, SOPs)

What's on Offer

  • Base salary $75,000-$90,000, depending on experience and skills
  • Eligible for 8% bonus based on personal performance
