About Our Client

Our client, a leading player in the premium snack food industry, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations within their manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with food safety regulations.

Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of production, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, HACCP).
  • Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Lead, train, and develop production team members to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
