The client is one of the largest privately-held fragrance and flavor company's in the world. The company has a facility based in the Missouri Area and seeking to bring on a Production Planning Manager to their growing team.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the production planning team in line with Firmenich core values
  • Identify and drive the changes to improve production planning efficiency
  • Cascade within production planning the site mission & objectives in line with the global & regional strategy to meet business requirements
  • Manage the production capacity
  • Prioritize plant production activities in order to ensure satisfaction of both internal and external customers (LT requirements)
  • Coordinate and manage prioritization of back order processing activities
  • Follow-up and resolution of daily operational issues
  • Review and improve Production Planning Procedures to improve working efficiency of the site
  • Develop, implement, report, set targets and control a set of KPI's to support achievements of production planning objectives
  • Establish and maintain the relevant system master data and production planning parameters
  • Recommends promotions and increases, hires and terminations
  • Interacts with Regional Planning, MPP Manager, Customer Experience, QC / Production / Logistics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations or Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience
  • APICS-CPIM or CPM certification preferred
