Job Description

Project Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Manage project finances and prepare financial reports
  • Conduct financial analyses to assist in decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish project budgets and monitor project costs
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable related to projects
  • Prepare project invoices and follow up on payment
  • Review and approve project-related expenses
  • Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of project accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
