Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsWell established General Contractor with proven track record delivering projectsAbility to learn and grow into Project Manager (Strong Mentorship)About Our ClientOur client is a well established General Contractor with a proven track record delivering successful projects throughout Florida including; K12, Commercial and Affordable Housing.Job DescriptionProject Administration & DocumentationAssist Project Managers with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth project execution.Maintain and update project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, logs, change orders, and closeout records.Prepare and distribute project schedules, weekly reports, safety documents, and communication packages.Coordinate permitting documentation, inspections, compliance tracking, and district‑required paperwork.Job Site CoordinationConduct regular site visits to support progress tracking and ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.Assist with verifying subcontractor work status, deliveries, and field conditions.Help monitor job site safety compliance and collect documentation from subcontractors as needed.Stakeholder CommunicationServe as a key point of contact between the office, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and Miami‑Dade County Public Schools representatives.Schedule and support project meetings; prepare agenda items, distribute materials, and document meeting minutes.Support communication with architects, engineers, inspectors, and district officials.Procurement & Cost ControlAssist with obtaining subcontractor quotes, creating purchase orders, and tracking material deliveries.Help maintain cost logs, budget tracking worksheets, and financial documentation.Coordinate with accounting on invoice processing, vendor payments, and contract administration.Compliance & Quality OversightSupport adherence to school district requirements, state and local codes, and general contractor policies.Assist with quality control documentation, punch lists, and warranty/closeout processes.Help maintain accurate logs for safety, permitting, and compliance records.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
