They're in the process of becoming an IPP.Job DescriptionThe Project Developer (Solar + Storage) will be responsible for:Lead project development of utility scale solar assets from site origination through financial close/start of construction.Site and permit facilities on agricultural land.Negotiate lease agreements and purchase option agreementsManage local community relationships through design and financing to secure additional support as needed for road use agreements, zoning support, and property tax incentives.Manage internal and external resources (engineering, finance, legal, environmental, etc) to successfully develop projects.Maintain an overview of the relevant business and competitive environment, including regulatory and environmental rules.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
