About Our Client

Our client is a US based renewable energy development firm that focuses on utility scale solar, wind, and storage projects across the US. They have over 6 years of experience within the industry and have a substantial pipeline of projects in both early and late stages and are actively looking to grow their development team.

Job Description

  • Lead Site Screening, selection and feasibility assessment
  • Manage the project development process from site identification to "ready to build stage"
  • Conduct land, market, regulatory, and other project-related research
  • Assist with project site identification and environmental studies
  • Negotiate lease agreements with landowners
  • Collaborate with external and internal EPC teams
  • Monitor and assist with regulatory processes
  • Monitor risks, budget, and schedule of project
  • Assist with managing the projects through land acquisition, environment diligence, engineering design, permitting/entitlements , and interconnection/transmission service requests
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns
  • Creation and Management of an overall project strategy plan
  • Prepare project budget and cash flow projection, management, and tracking

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 3+ years experience within the renewable industry
  • Exposure to utility-scale solar or wind projects but other project types would be considered
  • Relationship-oriented
  • Comfortable being "hands-on"
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Well-rounded project management experience
