Job Description

  • Collaborate & Plan: Contribute to pre-construction meetings as well as early project planning and strategy.
  • Coordinate & Review: Manage shop drawings, submittals, and permits, while assisting with municipal requirements that impact budgets and timelines.
  • Lead & Communicate: Work closely with engineers, architects, and team members to find solutions, present project updates, and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors.
  • Drive Success: Assist with costing, budgeting, and actively participate in sales processes to secure future projects.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Support the Project Management team with cost tracking and budget forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cross-team Coordination: Facilitate communication between Superintendents, Project Managers, and other key stakeholders to align project efforts.
  • Permit & Entitlement Management: Assist in permitting and entitlement processes, presenting projects to municipal authorities for necessary approvals.
  • Assist in Supplier & Subcontractor Selection: Support Project Managers in the final selection of suppliers and subcontractors for each project.
  • Industry Technology: Stay current with top-industry software and technology packages, making recommendations for future technology acquisitions.
  • Project Transitions: Assist in the transition of projects from Pre-Construction to Operations, ensuring smooth handovers and continued success.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and markets.
  • Administrative Support: Support the Operations and PCS Teams with various administrative functions as needed.
  • Database Management: Track and maintain operations and company databases with subcontractors, costs, and other project details.
