  • Manage the technical aspects of the project; serve as a liaison between the project manager and subcontractors/vendors.
  • Identifies and documents changes in scope.
  • Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
  • Assists in determining the scope of procurement and buy-outs and monitors progress.
  • Provides Superintendent's with immediate project assistance to ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted properly
  • Procure, track and follow up on all critical and long lead material and equipment items.
  • Manage, analyze and review the project specifications to ensure compliance with the contract documents in order to complete the submittal process.
  • Ensures the project team has the current project documents for their use.
  • Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and all other parties.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in a construction related field
  • Computer literate - spreadsheet, word processing, scheduling, project management and databases.
  • Strong verbal and written abilities for construction communication with design professionals and field personnel.
  • Must be able to think and reason in a logical manner
  • Ability to plan, schedule, keep records and prepare work reports
  • Ability to make quick decisions and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
