The Project Executive will oversee and manage large-scale construction projects in the Multifamily, Commercial, and Life Science sectors. This role requires a results-driven professional with a focus on managing teams, budgets, and project timelines effectively. The candidate will be expected to bring along a book of business and connections within the market to help expand one of their major project channels (Multifamily, Restaurants/Breweries, Healthcare)

The hiring Construction General Contractor is a mid-sized business services organization with a strong growing reputation in New England looking for a Project Executive to build out one of their project channels - Multifamily, Breweries/Restaurants, Life Science & Commercial construction up to $65M. They specialize in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, emphasizing professionalism and excellence in their work. This is a fresh and new opportunity that they are recruiting for and would give you the opportunity to lead Project Management efforts in Boston and hold a high level role with a name brand firm. They are expecting to grow by 10% in 2026 and are projecting a $150M year.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects in healthcare, education, life science & research, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery within the agreed parameters.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to maintain strong relationships and achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams to foster professional growth and ensure project success.
  • Monitor and control project risks to minimize potential issues and delays.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for construction project management.

A successful Project Executive should have:

  • The ability to bring along a book of business to help build out one of their sectors
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in Commercial, Multifamily, Life Science, and industrial sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively guide project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
