An incredibly well-backed IPP are looking to appoint a Project Finance Associate to report directly to their VP of Development.

With a highly experienced team of professionals that have worked at some of the most notable IPPs + Development firms, you will have the chance to take the lead on your projects and receive excellent mentorship from the team throughout the process.

Job Description

The Project Finance Associate will:

  • Manage and maintain tax equity and debt models essential for the continuous capital raising initiatives of the company.
  • Collaborate effectively with the firm's Development Team, engineers, and accounting professionals to derive appropriate assumptions for project finance models.
  • Contribute to due diligence processes for tax equity, construction, and term loan capital raises.
  • Develop and update investment memos, lender presentations, and project summaries for the firm's portfolio.
  • Cultivate and manage project finance-related intelligence, including tax equity terms, property and sales tax information, local subsidies, RECs, etc.
  • Provide support to the Asset Management team through ongoing operating reports and draw requests.

The Successful Applicant

The Project Finance Associate will:

  • Possess at least 4 years of experience in finance, banking, or the power industry.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in working with complex financial models in Excel.
  • Preferred experience with tax equity and/or term debt transactions in the renewables sector.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit self-starter qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Capable of collaborative teamwork and adept at prioritizing concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Between $150,000 - $180,000 base salary
