This Louisiana based General Contractor, established for more than 30 years, is searching for a Project Manager with large commercial experience to join their team in Shreveport. The Project Manager coordinates all activities between the field and operational / preconstruction staff and will also perform as the liaison for the home office Executives.

Job Description

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal and other requirements.
  • As necessary, update plans and schedules for field staff
  • Work with Superintendents to coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production.
  • Manage and push through all change-orders, RFI's, submittals, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners / clients

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Must have construction experience in the ground-up commercial space
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
