Our client is a well established, Georgia based General Contractor who performs projects throughout the Southeast. For over 40 years they have taken pride in their relationships with clients and their consistency has brought a full pipeline of projects for the team. They are known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail with every project and have high standards for their team.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects frompreconstruction throughclose‑out, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment
  • Support preconstruction efforts including budgeting, value engineering, constructability reviews, and subcontractor bid leveling/buyout
  • Develop, track, and forecast project budgets, job costs, and cash flow; implement corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate schedules and construction planning with Superintendents to maintain progress across all assigned projects
  • Administer subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs, and submittals in accordance with contract documents
  • Serve as primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and consultants, leading project meetings and communications
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks related to cost, schedule, quality, and constructability
  • Oversee project documentation, billing, close‑out, and turnover while mentoring Project Engineers and junior staff

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years as a project manager with a general contractor managing ground up commercial work including site and utilities
  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team
