Our client is a well-established general contractor based in Ridgewood, NJ, with over 30 years of experience delivering a broad range of construction projects. Their portfolio includes public works, commercial buildings, historical restorations, transit facilities, and industrial/warehouse spaces. Operating primarily in the New York/New Jersey region, they are known for quality, reliability, and a diverse project pipeline.

Job Description



  • Project Management: Manage day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met


  • Team Leadership: Coordinate between field teams, office staff, subcontractors, and clients


  • Schedule Management: Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls


  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications


  • Procurement: Participate in procurement and contract negotiations


  • Project Life Cycle: Assist in project planning from preconstruction through closeout

The Successful Applicant



  • 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically on public sector construction projects


  • Strong background in commercial or light industrial construction preferred


  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments (hybrid role)


  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills


  • Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)


  • Familiarity with NY/NJ public agency standards and procedures is a strong plus
