Job Description

The Project Manager-Construction & Tenant Services will be responsible for:

  • Managing outside vendors
  • Ensure the lease language and terms of delivery are achievable, and projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Ensure coordination of all assigned projects with internal departments, consultants, tenants and third party managers.
  • Provide pre-development input of construction techniques, job costs and schedules.
  • Provide oversight for value engineering and pre-development projects.
  • Assist with construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate plans, specs, and bids
  • Negotiate construction scope, fees, and contracts.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects from start to finish
  • Troubleshoot design and construction issues as they arise
  • Deliver project warranties and closeout documents

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager- Construction & Tenant Services will have:

  • Ideally 7+ years of project management and tenant coordination experience
  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and communication skills
  • Experience with redevelopment and retail properties
  • Proven proficiency in reading and understanding construction documents, cost estimating, and project design
  • Experience in reading and understanding civil, architectural, and MEP drawings
  • Ability to perform financial analysis/reporting of construction costs
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • PMP and LEED AP preferred
