About Our Client

Our client, a well-established General Contractor in the Hartford area, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. They specialize in complex and high-quality construction projects, particularly in the Healthcare and Private Education sectors. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for overseeing projects that impact communities positively.

Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all project phases from inception to completion.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on Healthcare and Private Education projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
