Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders to keep projects aligned with design plans and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify potential project risks and challenges, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support project goals.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting professional development and strong team performance.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Project Manager Applicant will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing large-scale multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and regulations related to vertical construction.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience guiding, mentoring, and developing project teams.
  • Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and project forecasting.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, or comparable tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and oversee several projects simultaneously.
  • Experience negotiating and administering contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and a strong commitment to maintaining safe job sites.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project locations as needed.
  • PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus but not required.
