As a Construction Project Manager with K-12 experience, you will play a crucial role in leading projects that enhance educational facilities and impact students' lives. In terms of their location and where they typically build, they started out in the North Bay but have expanded to several parts of the Bay Area, including the South Bay. They have lots of projects in the pipeline and are, therefore, looking to grow the team.Job DescriptionLead the end-to-end project management of K-12 construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and school officials to develop project plans, designs, and construction schedules.Navigate the unique challenges and requirements of K-12 construction projects, including permitting, regulations, safety considerations, and community engagement.Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.Coordinate and oversee the bidding process, contractor selection, and contract negotiation to secure qualified and reliable partners.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.Implement rigorous quality control measures, ensuring that construction work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.Monitor construction site activities, resolve issues, and make timely decisions to keep projects on track.Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
