Description
The Project Manager - Family-Owned General Contractor is responsible for:
- Establishing the project control plan to manage cost and schedule
- Securing building permits, licenses and occupancy certificates as needed
- Overseeing all project financials
- Monitoring/controlling construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure building the project on schedule and within budget
- Coordinating and running meetings with OPM, Architects/Engineers for obtaining approvals to jointly discuss procedures, progress, problems and scheduling.
- Scheduling and assisting in progress meetings with Trade Contractors and Construction Superintendents.
- Reporting to the Director of Operations
The Successful Applicant
The successful Project Manager - Family-Owned General Contractor will have:
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
- Project experience over $10 million in value
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong background in Procore and other construction-related technologies
