They mainly build retail, restaurants, multifamily, and hospitality projects, but also do various commercial workProject locations - Mostly in the MidwestWork: 80-90% of their work is negotiated - their client base in mainly developersProject Examples:Chipotle - Ground-upMultitenant Strip Malls - Shell/TI - Put in mattress stores, restaurants, other retailBig Box Store - Ground-upPanera Bread - Ground-up100-unit Multifamily - Ground-upJob DescriptionProject Manager - Core Responsibilities:Manage client expectations, queries and project information flowTimely final subcontractor reconciliation and billing, punch list and all final closeoutParticipate in developing best practices in project management and implement by leading by exampleDevelop detailed construction budgetsDevelop construction schedules including milestones, duration's and dependenciesOversee progress relative to contract construction scheduleSchedule and document required government inspections during constructionCommunicate daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinatorsManage multiple projects as primary liaison with clientReview original estimates and analyze total proposal packages, proactive pre-job planning including: design development, conceptual estimating, scheduling, bidding, buyout, contracts, project team communications and team buildingTimely handling of client and subcontractor issues, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, monthly cost analysis and reportingResolve any project issues identified in monthly meetingsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
