Job Description

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver commercial and public sector construction projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation using tools like Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, change orders, and cost tracking documentation to clients and senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best practices in project delivery and team collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferably in the NYC market.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, and teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
