Job Description

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Provide strong project leadership while establishing, implementing, and reinforcing a proactive project safety culture.
  • Manage the development, coordination, and review of bid packages to secure competitive, high‑quality subcontractor proposals.
  • Lead job-site subcontractor meetings to align teams, resolve challenges, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review monthly invoices and oversee all documentation required for accurate, timely project funding.
  • Direct cost reporting activities, including tracking contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure the project's overall financial health through forecasting, budget management, and early identification of risks.
  • Represent the client during subcontractor negotiations to establish clear expectations and favorable terms.
  • Oversee project scheduling, ensuring milestones are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with field teams to monitor progress, quality, and productivity, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Drive communication with owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain transparency.
  • Support the development and mentoring of project engineers and assistant PMs to strengthen the project team.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met through consistent inspections and proactive problem‑solving.
  • Facilitate project close‑out activities, including punch lists, final inspections, turnover packages, and post‑construction follow‑up.

The Successful Applicant

The Construction Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details.
  • Previous hospital, life sciences, or MOB project experience & ICRA knowledge preferred
  • Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors and clients.
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and electrical.
