What truly separates them though is that while they compete with the largest firms in the space, they take great pride in maintaining a family-feel environment.Ownership: Multi-generation family owned, with a plethora of non-family members in leadershipFinancials: $600m/year in annual revenue, split between two officesProject Variety: Diverse portfolio of large healthcare, education, multifamily, and commercial buildsProject Size: Most projects $10-30m+ ground upProject Locations: All local to their Wisconsin officesCulture: Family-feel firm, treat all employees as a member of the familyJob DescriptionDevelops robust relationships with clients, design partners, and project stakeholders by understanding clients' business priorities, making regular site visits, and facilitating communication within the project team.Assists in the construction management process for assigned projects, involving tasks such as reviewing client contracts, participating in preconstruction and bidding, overseeing submittals and RFIs, managing purchases, resolving subcontractor issues, analyzing self-perform activities, and leading project closeouts.Actively monitors and manages job cost and labor production, participating in recurring meetings with project executives to discuss project financials.Vigilantly tracks project cashflow, billings, and negotiates Potential Change Items (PCIs).Engages in proactive risk management by identifying and addressing potential issues, conducting risk analysis, and preparing observation reports.Creates and maintains project schedules, ensuring alignment of activities and team members.Monitors project success, adjusting plans in response to challenges and milestones, and communicates changes to the project team.Conducts weekly schedule updates to stay on top of project timelines.Performs other assigned duties related to project management.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
