Description
Position entails serving as a key liaison with their customers, scheduling and coordinating all design and construction processes and is responsible for estimating and financial management and margin performance of the project. He or she also must coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, within time limits. Responsible for estimating projects working with subcontractors, reviewing the scope of work. Also, is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, and, depending upon the contractual arrangements, and for directing or monitoring compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements set by the project's insurers. Procore experience not required but preferred. ***Estimating experience is required***
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
- 10+ years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time
- TI and ground-up experience
- Commercial, Office, Breweries and Industrial
- Estimating experience
- Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
