Job Description

The Project Manager - K-12/Public Projects - DC Metro will:

  • Lead and manage construction projects valued at $20M+, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting using MS Office tools
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Uphold the client's core values of integrity, innovation, and community impact
  • Navigate permitting and regulatory processes in the DMV region

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - K-12/Public Projects - DC Metro will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction
  • Proven track record managing at least one ground-up building project
  • Experience in sectors such as multifamily, healthcare, education, or civic buildings
  • Familiarity with DMV construction regulations and stakeholders
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • PMP or CCM certification preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Competitive base salary: $115,000-$135,000
  • Monthly car allowance of $500
  • Performance bonus up to 10%
