Job Description

Estimating

  1. Support the Director of Program Management and Chief Estimator in the strategic level development of the company estimating system
  2. Oversee and assign estimating requirements to support staff for each prototype and/or project estimate
  3. Develop detailed basis of estimates, including qualifications and assumptions
  4. Develop, maintain and update databases used for the development of estimates, including Costed Bill of Materials
  5. Build positive relationships and alliances with other company departments, vendors and subcontractors.
  6. Effectively communicate and coordinate with company Design, Manufacturing, Construction and Supply Chain teams.



Budget / Target Controls

  1. Support the Director of Program Management and Senior Controls Manager in the strategic level development of the company program launch process
  1. Manage the flow of Estimating Targets into management systems, including:
    1. Client proposals, contracts and pay applications
    2. Subcontractor contracts and pay applications
    3. Job Cost Reporting and forecasting



Program or Product Launch

  1. Lead the tactical implementation of the company launch process across the programs
  2. Monitor and support the Program Design Managers and Program Managers during the Launch
  3. Develop, maintain & update databases used for the tracking of Launch milestones and progress.
  4. Develop program launch schedules and work plans
  5. Analyze program requirements, scope, risks and opportunities, then clearly communicate to company leadership

  3. Ability to generate, maintain, and iterate project schedules.
  4. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and construction documents and properly communicate missing information or discrepancies.
  5. Ability to identify and implement process improvements for current and future projects.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent expedience across a relevant industry
