This general contractor is well established and has a diverse project pipeline across commercial, multifamily, and specialty construction sectors. As we expand our presence in Palm Beach County, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high‑profile healthcare construction project. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values client relationships, and brings deep expertise in medical, healthcare, and hospital construction.

Job Description

Lead the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout on a healthcare facility project.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
Develop and maintain project schedules, logistics plans, and budget tracking.
Ensure full compliance with AHCA requirements, infection control protocols, and healthcare‑specific safety standards.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and healthcare administrators.
Conduct regular site walks to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues.
Report regularly on project status to company leadership and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of project management experience with a general contractor.
Healthcare / medical / hospital construction experience is required.
Strong understanding of AHCA, infection control, life safety requirements, and healthcare MEP systems.
Local experience in Palm Beach County or South Florida strongly preferred.
Proven ability to manage complex, fast‑paced projects with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in construction project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
