My client is an established general contractor/developer located in downtown Chicago. They are looking for a Project Manager that has experience managing luxury commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, and mid/high rise projects.

Job Description

  • Overseeing scheduling, budgets, documentation, etc. of project from beginning to end
  • Work with the preconstruction team from conception to close out on projects
  • Oversee the management of successful construction projects
  • Prepare and analyze bids
  • Preparing reports on construction progress and cost for clients
  • Be client-facing and maintain the client relationship
  • Negotiate, award, and administer all subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders on construction projects
  • Travel to job site 1-2 days a week

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience managing complex projects
  • 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Preconstruction experience
  • Proficient in ProCore, Bluebeam, CMIC
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Ability to adapt to ensure project success
  • Valid drivers license REQUIRED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects
