About Our Client

My client is a general contractor with a diverse project portfolio and projects ranging from small scale interior build outs to multi-million dollar ground up facilities. They have growth plans bringing them into 2022 and average about $110M in annual revenue with plans to hit $150M in the next 1-2 years. Due to this growth, they are adding to their project management team. Although they are growing quickly, they have not done it at the expense of their company culture. They pride themselves on their employees having long tenure and enjoying coming into work each day. Description

  • Manage construction projects around the St. Louis area
  • Develop relationships with clients to grow long-lasting business partnerships
  • Lead client meetings at all phases of the construction process
  • Solicit proposals from subcontractors to create bid packages
  • Analyze material costs and estimates to ensure accuracy while working with the estimating team
  • Communicate effectively with field crew to ensure project schedules and budgets are in line and up to date
  • Review and process change orders when necessary
  • Assist with training new employees
  • Participate in company meetings and project updates with C and VP level colleagues

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Experience in a project manager capacity leading projects over $500k
  • Interior or ground up construction experience
  • Experience in estimating is a plus
  • Project management software experience
  • Organized
  • Familiar with local subcontractors and material cost/budgeting
