This is a very exciting role with an industry leading organization!Job DescriptionPerform thorough front-end due diligence, including reviewing property condition assessments, environmental reports, and evaluations from specialty consultants.Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and logistics plans; oversee the execution of these plans during active construction phases.Provide detailed updates on construction progress, address current or anticipated issues, and ensure budget adherenceIdentify and assess maintenance, building issues, and needed capital improvements.Recommend effective solutions to resolve building deficiencies and meet regulatory standards.Help source and manage the Design Team, Vendors, and Contractors.Oversee the development of architectural and engineering plans and specifications.Ensure timely permitting approvals from local authorities, ensuring compliance with all code and regulatory requirements for stakeholders like Housing Authorities, lenders, and HUD.Coordinate with Operations and Property Management teams on contractor access, logistics, utility shutdowns, and notices.Conduct regular on-site inspections of ongoing construction projects.Monitor construction quality control, conducting pre- and post-construction reviews.Facilitate site tours for design teams, lenders, and other stakeholders to assess project progress and participate in draw meetings.Enforce safety protocols on-site to protect contractors and residents.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
