Focused on healthcare facilities in Florida.Job DescriptionProject Leadership & OversightServe as the owner's primary point of contact for all project phases including planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, activation, and turnover.Lead cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and execution strategy.Facilitate user group meetings to translate clinical and operational needs into design and construction requirements.Healthcare Planning & ComplianceEnsure project compliance with all healthcare-specific codes and standards including:Joint Commission (TJC)Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI)NFPA 101 Life Safety CodeLocal/state DOH regulationsCoordinate infection prevention measures, interim life safety measures (ILSM), and disruption planning for active healthcare environments.Budget & Schedule ManagementDevelop and maintain project budgets, cash flow projections, and financial reporting.Track project schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to maintain on-time delivery.Evaluate and negotiate change orders, pay applications, and contractor/vendor proposals.Design & Construction ManagementGuide design teams to ensure alignment with program goals, operational workflows, and medical equipment needs.Oversee contractor performance, quality control, safety, and adherence to specifications.Lead weekly OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and manage project documentation.Stakeholder & Communication ManagementCommunicate regularly with executives, department leaders, clinicians, and facilities teams.Prepare and deliver project updates, dashboards, and decision-support materials to senior leadership.Build strong working relationships across internal and external partners.Turnover & ActivationCoordinate equipment installation, technology integration, and FF&E logistics.Support occupancy planning, training, commissioning, and project activation.Ensure complete closeout documentation, as-builts, warranties, and compliance certifications.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
