About Our Client
My client is a well established mid-size Development company with a diverse portfolio including office, retail, industrial and residential projects. With local projects the team is currently looking for a Development Manager to join the team and start their growth path.
Job Description
The Development Manager will directly report into the Senior Leadership team and have the following responsibilities.
- Duties include due diligence for potential property acquisitions
- Creating concept plans with AutoCAD
- Hiring, managing and overseeing outside engineers and consultants
- Researching government regulations, managing the permitting process and obtaining all required project permits,
- Attending municipal board meetings, working with project abutters and government officials, and ensuring that construction complies with local regulations and approval conditions for retail, office, industrial and residential projects.
- Perform effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Development Manager will have:
- Bachelor degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related
- 2+ years experience in residential or commercial development and project management
- Exposure to engineering, working with CAD
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Appetite to grow their career
