Job Description

This Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage retail construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery and closeout
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and scope alignment
  • Oversee project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and change order management
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and site productivity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and reporting processes
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining quality and brand standards
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers, supporting their development

The Successful Applicant

An ideal Project Manager will have:

  • 5-8+ years of experience managing retail or commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, subcontractor management, and contract administration
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams in fast-paced retail environments
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and construction management software
