My client is a well‑established, Carolinas‑based General Contractor with more than 50 years of success across the Southeast. With a team of 150-200 employees and annual revenues in the $100-150M range, they've earned a strong reputation for integrity, reliability, and disciplined project execution.

They manage both ground‑up and renovation work ranging from $1M-$40M across healthcare, industrial, institutional, office, interior upfits, and more. Their current workload includes tilt‑up warehouses, religious facilities, a charter school, and an assisted living project.

Job Description

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all job sites.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in commercial construction is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience with a general contractor
  • Proficiency in relevant project management software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team‑focused environment
