Leadership is hands-on and accessible, and the business is growing with a strong project pipeline.Employees enjoy excellent benefits, including health coverage, a 401(k) with matching and profit sharing, daily free lunch, and a vehicle program.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager - Wastewater + Commercial Projects will be responsible for:Project Oversight: Lead and manage the overall execution of multifamily construction projects, ensuring all activities align with project goals, budgets, schedules, and client expectations. Oversee the entire project life cycle, from pre-construction planning to post-construction closeout.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, including project engineers, field supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and that team members are aligned with project objectives.Budget and Cost Management: Oversee the project's financial performance, including managing budgets, monitoring costs, and controlling expenses. Review and approve project budgets, change orders, and cost reports. Ensure that the project is delivered within financial parameters while maintaining the desired quality standards.Schedule Management: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and the final project. Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to avoid conflicts and delays.Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular progress updates and address any client concerns or changes to scope. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Risk Management: Identify project risks (e.g., schedule delays, cost overruns, safety hazards) and proactively address them. Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure that the project is delivered smoothly and with minimal disruption.Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets company standards, building codes, and regulations. Perform regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to plans and specifications.Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Oversee the selection, negotiation, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure that they meet the project's quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
