The role of the Project Manager is to provide leadership & management for the entire life-cycle of an assigned construction project to include: Pre-development input on design, cost and schedule; oversight and evaluation of on-site personnel; coordination of Subcontractors; ensure work proceeds as specified, on budget and on schedule; all project documentation is properly completed; and the project is successfully closed out and delivered to Owner
  • Ability to work with the newest technology in the construction field
  • Immediately able to make an impact on a high quality project

About Our Client

Our client is seeking an experience Construction Project Manager with a highlighted focus on healthcare facility builds to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The successful candidate will have experience managing all phase of a healthcare construction project and have the ability to work on a team while also managing a group of subordinates.

Job Description

  • Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
  • Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
  • Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
  • Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
  • Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
  • Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years in Healthcare Construction as a Project Manager.
  • Strong oral communication and written skills.
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Science, Management, or related field
  • Ability to successful manage all aspects of multifamily projects including schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion.
  • Collaboration with the Superintendent to develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked
