With a growing portfolio of successful multifamily developments, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team and manage the execution of these projects from inception to completion.Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of multifamily construction projects, from pre-construction to project closeout. The ideal candidate will have strong multifamily construction experience and be highly skilled at managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships. You will be instrumental in ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Coordination: Manage all phases of multifamily construction projects, from pre-construction planning and budgeting through to project completion. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are clearly defined and achieved.Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs and ensuring that projects are completed within financial parameters. Review and approve change orders, negotiate costs, and manage project financials.Scheduling & Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that key milestones and deadlines are met. Work with the Superintendent and subcontractors to adjust timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts as necessary.Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of construction professionals, including Superintendents, field personnel, and subcontractors. Ensure that all team members are aligned with the project's goals and quality expectations.Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, manage expectations, and address any issues that arise during construction.Risk Management: Identify potential risks or challenges during the course of the project and implement strategies to mitigate or resolve them. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure that the project is completed to the highest standards of quality by reviewing construction methods and materials. Ensure that all work complies with project plans, codes, and specifications.Contractor & Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and coordinate the efforts of subcontractors and vendors. Monitor performance and ensure subcontractors are completing work on schedule and to required quality standards.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, submittals, and meeting notes. Provide regular reports to senior management and clients on project status and any issues.Project Closeout: Oversee the final inspection process and ensure all punch list items are completed. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale residential projects from start to finish.Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
