About Our Client

Our client is a top Contractor in the Chicago area and also has established offices in other states. They are looking for a motivated Project Manager to join their established Chicago branch. This is due to substantial growth and recently winning a number of projects. Project Managers will join an established team and receive excellent training and mentorship.

Job Description

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.
Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals, contracts, and project documentation.
Maintain and cultivate relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Manage risk and resolve project issues proactively, ensuring smooth project delivery.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective communication and a collaborative work environment.
Track and report project progress to senior management, ensuring clear and transparent communication.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, project management methodologies, and construction processes.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project teams.
Familiarity with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
