If you are looking for a reputable GC that offers room for growth, a great company culture, and an excellent work/life balance, please apply for immediate consideration.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will:Establishing and maintaining working professional relationships with the project design team, company field and office personnel, subcontractors, vendors and governmental agencies overseeing the project.Assuming a leadership role in overseeing the preparation of the construction documentsAdministering contracts between Owner and General Contractor and General Contractor and Subcontractors and VendorsManaging value engineering efforts for the projectPreparing and processing all paperwork and documents to Owner, project design team and subcontractors in a timely and complete mannerReporting and providing assistance to the Project Executive, Vice President, and President of Construction with project management duties as needed.Interfacing with Construction Lender field inspectorsAll other duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe Successful Candidiate:Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in architecture, engineering, construction science, or other related field.Minimum of five years' experience in managing all phases of construction of high density residential and mixed use projects.Five-Ten years of applicable and related experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degreeSkills/Specialized KnowledgeKnowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling and safety practicesAbility to communicate well in English both written and verbally.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and MS project.
