A well-established, Employee-Owned General Contractor is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in Public Works projects to join the team. Job Description

  • Manage Public Works construction projects from award through completion
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all Public Works requirements, including prevailing wage and reporting
  • Lead project meetings with municipalities, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project plans
  • Maintain strong communication across field and office teams
  • Drive project performance, quality control, and client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as a Project Manager in commercial or civil construction
  • Proven experience delivering Public Works projects (city, county, state, or federal)
  • Strong knowledge of public bidding, contract requirements, and compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
