About Our Client

A well-established, Employee-Owned General Contractor is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in Public Works projects to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead meaningful infrastructure and community-focused construction projects while working with a respected contractor known for quality delivery and long-term client partnerships.

Job Description

Manage Public Works construction projects from award through completion
Coordinate schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project documentation
Ensure compliance with all Public Works requirements, including prevailing wage and reporting
Lead project meetings with municipalities, agencies, and stakeholders
Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project plans
Maintain strong communication across field and office teams
Drive project performance, quality control, and client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

Experience as a Project Manager in commercial or civil construction
Proven experience delivering Public Works projects (city, county, state, or federal)
Strong knowledge of public bidding, contract requirements, and compliance standards
Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
