They have been in business for 30+ years.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager - Construction, are:Project Coordination & ManagementAssist in planning and managing residential construction projects from inception to completion.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.Support the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.Compliance & PermittingEnsure adherence to NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.Monitor compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations on-site.Communication & ReportingServe as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and building and construction codes.Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, status reports, and project documentation.Assist in resolving conflicts or issues that arise during construction.Quality Control & Site SupportConduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and verify that project requirements are being met.Assist in managing inspections, punch lists, and closeout processes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
