Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsGreat opportunity to grow your careerOpportunity to grow and advance your careerAbout Our ClientOur client is a well-established general contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality public and institutional projects across New York City in addition to doing private work.Job DescriptionManage multiple public sector projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and construction oversight.Coordinate and supervise field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure alignment with project goals.Prepare and review submittals, RFIs, change orders, payment requisitions, and daily/weekly project reports.Serve as the primary point of contact between the client (SCA or other public agencies), design professionals, and the internal team.Monitor project budgets and control costs through regular tracking and forecasting.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.Participate in progress meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.Manage project closeout procedures including punch lists, warranty documentation, and turnover packages.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
