Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate all construction activities from initiation to completion.
  • Prepare budgets and construction timelines, ensuring projects stay within the allocated budget and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Resolve any problems that may arise during the construction process.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide regular progress reports.
  • Review project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems.
  • Assist in the selection of subcontractors and coordinate their activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of both ground up and build-out construction.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field.
