About Our Client

This NJ-based company is a leading Foundations and Sitework Contractor in the NJ and surrounding market with many excellent clients and a steady pipeline of projects. The company has been successful for the last several decades and is looking for a PM/Estimator who wants to join the growing team and bring the company through to the next phase of growth and expansion.

Job Description

The Project Manager/Estimator will:

  • Participate in projects from pre-bid through to final closeout
  • Participate in bidding process - sending RFQs, preparing quantity takeoffs, and estimating labor/materials/equipment costs
  • Assist in/Provide costing for upcoming municipal projects
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Obtain and expedite approvals for permits
  • Manage subcontractor payments
  • Perform weekly site visits

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager/Estimator will have the following:

  • 3-5+ years' of experience in civil construction
  • Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience leading projects up to $3.5M
  • Experience bidding and estimating sitework and building addition projects
