Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records related to property accounting activities.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Generate financial reports and analyze variances to ensure compliance with budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes related to property operations.
  • Collaborate with property managers to monitor and update budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company accounting standards.
  • Assist with annual audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in property accounting.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Big 4 experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of property accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
