About Our Client

The Manager of Client Accounting/Advisory Services (CAS) will lead a team in delivering high-quality outsourced accounting, payroll, and advisory services. This role involves reviewing staff work, providing guidance, managing client relationships, and identifying business development opportunities while supporting the department's strategic initiatives.

Job Description

  • Review and Guidance: Oversee outsourced accounting, payroll, and tax services, providing feedback and educational support to staff.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new services and support client acquisition.
  • Client Engagement: Manage client onboarding, build relationships, and oversee complex projects.
  • Advisory Services: Provide forecasting, KPI dashboards, and other financial insights to clients.
  • Process Management: Handle payroll and sales tax notices, conduct research, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance accounting processes and workflows to improve team efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 5+ years in a CPA firm with staff management and supervisory experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Yardi; skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; high attention to detail.
